    Paul W. Noble, MD, is chair of the Department of Medicine and director of the Women's Guild Lung Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His clinical areas of expertise are interstitial lung disease, conducting clinical trials in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), connective tissue disease-related pulmonary disease, and bronchiolitis. His research laboratory focuses on cellular and molecular mechanisms of lung inflammation and fibrosis, the role of lung stem cells in pulmonary fibrosis, and the role of host defense in lung inflammation and fibrosis. Dr Noble earned his MD from New York University School of Medicine, has published articles in many peer-review journals, and has authored chapters in pulmonary textbooks on the pathogenesis and diagnosis and management of IPF.

    Jeremy A. Falk, MD, joined the faculty of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2006, where he is currently associate professor of medicine, associate director of the lung transplant program as well as director for the fellowship program. His clinical and research interests include pulmonary fibrosis, lung transplant, and alpha-one antitrypsin deficiency. Dr Falk earned his medical degree at the Ohio State University, and completed his residency and fellowship at Temple University in Philadelphia.
